Level 2 Residential Survey

Thank you for your instruction for Merit Estates to carry out a Level 2 Homebuyer Survey on the property that you intend to buy.

As we are RICS accredited we are obliged to forward our Complaints Handling Procedures.

In order to proceed with the instruction, we require the following:

  1. Your full instruction details inputting into the form below.
  2. Please read the terms of engagement via the link below and confirm at the end of the form. By signing the eSignature box you are confirming that you have read and understood the terms.
  3. For us to adhere to Money Laundering Regulations, we require proof of your address and identity. Please use the form below to attach a photograph of your driving licence. If you do not have a driving licence, please select the option to upload a photograph of your passport and a photograph of a utility bill dated within three months. We cam also accept certified copies from your solicitor.

After the form is received, the surveyor will contact the estate agent or seller to book in the survey. An invoice will be sent to you in advance of the survey taking place. The invoice must be paid in full prior to the report being released. Payment can be by online transfer or by cheque. We regret that we cannot take card payments. Please note the cancellation policy in the terms.

We aim for the entire process to take no longer than 10 working days from the instructions being received.

NOTE: UNDER RICS REGULATION, WE CAN NOT BOOK IN YOUR SURVEY UNTIL ALL ITEMS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
