Andrew has been a Chartered Surveyor since 1980 specialising in the management of property and estates, in Scotland and Sussex. He has looked after a mixed portfolio of clients dealing with a multitude of property, residential, commercial, valuation and agricultural matters. Andrew has been on the Nat West valuation panel.
After sabbaticals in Kenya, Nepal and Malaysia where he undertook humanitarian work and photographed animals, Andrew has moved to Yorkshire where he is concentrating on RICS Home Buyers surveys and valuations.
Andrew’s involvement with Merit Estates started in 2016 when Managing Director Will, married Sophie, his oldest daughter and ideas of a cooperative gathered pace. Where a number of surveyors, experts in their own field, could work under a single umbrella and pass on the economies of this model to prospective clients. In 2019 Andrew joined Merit Estates as a Consultant surveyor.
Andrew provides Surveys and Valuations throughout Yorkshire and Co Durham, Teeside and South Northumberland.
